About Us

My father Blaine "skip" Macknair started the business 62 years ago.  I took over in 1990 and we went from a local business dealing with local Amish and small farmers, to a national business with occasional world wide clients.  
The business model has changed over the years to cope with different demands of the customers.  The early years consisted of a solely "buy and sell" model, but changing times have brought a necessary change to rebuilding and repairing farm equipment of customers to more field ready and rebuilt equipment supplied buy me. I still ship parts across the country, supplying Amish and non-Amish with parts needed to keep their old equipment running.
